Pine Creek Canyon is a canyoneering route that requires specialized skill and equipment to descend. Almost immediately, canyoneers will find themselves in a slot canyon with potholes filled with very cold water. Wetsuits are recommended. Slings and rapides are recommended; although the canyon is fully bolted with sport anchors at each rappel point.
